The 2023 hybrid course will begin February 16th and wrap up May 11th. Reading assignments are posted online, along with weekly in-person meetings held on Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The cost is $125.00, which includes lifetime access to the award-winning “North Carolina Extension Gardener Handbook”!

Once your application is received, you’ll receive a call to come in for a short, informal interview. We know you have choices when volunteering, and we want to make sure we meet your expectations!
