Coastal Plains Chicken Project

The Coastal Plains Chicken Project registration is officially out! The registration deadline is January 22nd but there are a limited amount of chicks available, so please let me know ASAP what you want.

There are 2 options this year: 1) Broilers *must be returned to us for processing* or 2) Black Laced Silver Wyandotte Hens *your responsibility for what happens after the show*

*First time participants must attend an orientation training. Ours will be held in Duplin County on February 12th at 7:00 p.m.
*Must complete a Poultry Project Record Book – due April 23rd
*Anticipated arrival of birds is early to mid-February for laying hen chicks, and mid-March for broilers
*The show will be on May 1st at the Duplin Events Center
