Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Class – Information Meeting

— Written By

The 2018 Extension Master Gardener Intern class is scheduled to begin in January. Master Gardener Volunteers are members of the local community who take an active interest in their landscapes and gardens. They are enthusiastic, willing to learn and help others, and able to communicate with diverse groups of people. As a part of NC State Extension’s volunteer staff, volunteers provide unbiased, research based educational assistance and programs in horticulture and environmental issues to the gardening public here in Pender County. The next intern class begins in early January, 2018. For those interested in the program, we will be conducting an informational meeting on Thursday, November 9th from 10AM until noon at the Pender County Extension Center located at 801 S. Walker Street, Burgaw, NC 28425. You will learn more about the program at that time. If you are interested and are not able to attend the information meeting, you can simply complete an application and mail or email it to Tim Mathews at the above address or tim_mathews@ncsu.edu. You can find an application here 2018 MG application
